QuadPlay is built with a simple privacy principle: we don't want your data. The app runs entirely on your Apple TV and your phone — we don't operate a server, we don't have user accounts, and we don't collect analytics.
Short version: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The video URLs you paste stay on your devices and your local Wi‑Fi network. Subscription billing is handled entirely by Apple.
None. QuadPlay does not collect any personal information from you. We do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address. The app does not include analytics, tracking, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting tools that send data off your device.
QuadPlay lets you watch up to four videos at the same time on your Apple TV in a 2×2 grid. To make the pairing experience easier, the app runs a small web server on your Apple TV that is reachable only from devices on the same local Wi‑Fi network — usually your phone.
When you scan the QR code shown by the app and submit video links from your phone, those links are sent directly from your phone to your Apple TV over your local Wi‑Fi network. Nothing is sent to us or to any server we control. We do not see, log, or have access to the URLs you paste.
When QuadPlay plays a video, your Apple TV connects directly to whatever service hosts that video (for example, Dropbox, Google Drive, or another video host). Those services have their own privacy policies and may log standard request information such as your IP address. We have no involvement in or visibility into those connections.
QuadPlay offers an auto‑renewable subscription that is purchased and managed through Apple's App Store. We do not see, handle, or store your payment information. Apple shares with us only the information needed to verify that you have an active subscription (an opaque, app‑specific transaction identifier). We do not receive your name, email address, billing address, or payment method.
You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad. For details on how Apple processes payment information, please see the Apple Privacy Policy.
QuadPlay saves a small amount of information locally on your Apple TV so the app behaves the way you expect — for example, the most recent set of video links you pasted, the labels you toggled, and a few interface preferences. This information lives only on your Apple TV and is removed when you delete the app.

QuadPlay is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone — including children. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will confirm that no such information exists in our systems (because we don't operate any).
Because we don't collect or store your data, there is no central database for us to lose. The data that does exist (your local preferences, your subscription receipt) is stored on your Apple device and protected by Apple's platform security.
You have the right to know what personal information we have about you, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any processing. The honest answer to all three is the same: we do not have any personal information about you.

QuadPlay is available wherever Apple distributes apps. Because the app does not transmit personal information to us, no cross‑border data transfer occurs as a result of using QuadPlay. Your interactions with Apple's App Store and with any third‑party video hosts are governed by their respective privacy policies.
If we ever change how the app handles data — for example, if a future version adds an optional cloud‑sync feature — we will update this policy and revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's release notes on the App Store.
